Windcrop is a new green energy business that will provide rural businesses with low cost renewable energy generated from small wind turbines. Windcrop will build up an extensive fleet of turbines on sites across the region. Many sites will have a single turbine and there will be no more than 2 or 3 turbines per site at most. Each turbine will feed discounted electricity to the site owner. Windcrop will fund the total system, including planning, installation and on-going maintenance. The site-owner's only commitment is to provide the location. We aim to install total generation capacity of around 14MW over the next five years.
