HEC: The Innovation Hub  

·       Design Hub (Ideas > Product / Service > Market) providing IP, Prototyping support through HEC’s Direct Digital Manufacturing Centre

·       Pilot Innovation / Supply Chain / Cluster Development programs

In 4 years HEC has:

·       Facilitated 15 pilot innovation programs resulting so far in 2 startups

·       Raised public / private sector finance for HEC's Wind Energy Supply Chain Development program - EWEG

In the next 4 years HEC aims to grow from being an exemplar enterprise hub to become an cutting edge Innovation Hub

As an Innovation Hub HEC will support:

·       Facilitate cross sector networking / collaboration with such organisations as UEA, BRE, EPIC, InCrops ....

·       Provide innovation training, benchmarking and support

·       Share best practice in innovation

·       Develop open innovation through supply chain and cluster development programs

The aim to:

·       Developing the Knowledge Economy driven through Innovation in Norfolk and the Region

·       Raise GVA (Gross Value Added) in Norfolk and the Region
