•Facilitate alternative learning environments (eg After School Clubs ...)

•Support learning providers in curriculum delivery (eg Diplomas, GCSEs ...)

•Deliver training to learners from school, college, university (eg NVQs ...)

•Provide business demand driven training in:

• Leadership & Management
• Competiveness

In 4 years HEC has:

•launched a Learning Skills Centre providing training in CNC, CAD, CAM, RP...

•engaged with over 8000 students

•delivered over 7000 training man days

In next 4 years:

•Supporting delivery of new Diplomas and Design Technology curriculum

•Developing Afterschool Club Network across Norfolk

•Delivering initiatives such as: Learning Networks, Student Design Hub, Rapid Enterprise, Open Innovation Challenge (ie Student Cluster Development Programs)

H-STEM has a key focus on raising aspirations and inspiring the minds of young people towards engineering through the means of practical based activities and curriculum development.
