Andrew Bolton is focussed on establishing Aerospace and Defence Standards AS 9100 (Manufacturing), AS 9110 (Aircraft Maintenance) and AS 9120 (Stockists) into organisations using their current processes and culture to ensure that effort and time is not wasted in ‘reinventing the wheel’. These Standards are a pre-requisite for organisations seriously wanting to do business in the Aerospace and Defence industries. Up to date knowledge is maintained through being a Member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) and a Member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

Since leaving the Royal Air Force after 39 years as a multi-trade aircraft technician, the main activity has been as an International Auditor for the aerospace manufacturing Standards AS 9100, AS 9110 & AS 9120 which are based wholly on the ISO 9001 Standard.  ISO 9001:2008 consultancy can also be provided.  Clients have included major American global Companies producing aluminium and aluminium products, aircraft component manufacturers including lighting, hydraulic and undercarriage systems and in Germany for a space related organisation. 

The auditing activity has covered many countries in the world from almost all European and Eastern European countries to Japan, Russia, India, America, Middle East and the Falklands.  This vast experience is now used in the consultancy business to the benefit of his clients to  establish a process based organisation, reduce costs and customer complaints and to ensure that the product is delivered on time.
