Narinder has been associated with HEC as a Board Member since the centre's conception in 2005 and since then has actively been very passionate about promoting engineering and manufacturing in Norfolk. He has over 25 years of end to end SCM and operational industry experience gained in small, medium sized and multinational organisations based in the UK, Europe and USA in the electronics, engineering, manufacturing, FMCG and automotive sectors.

His latest role is as Vice President of Supply Chain, Operational Excellence and Quality covering operations in UK, USA and Asia. Narinder has had considerable success in the challenging but potentially a very profitable area of International Sourcing, with emphasis on Low Cost Countries, where he has over 13 years hands on experience of reducing cost, in several cases by over 70% compared to the UK. During his career, Narinder has also worked very closely with key customers, including Akzo Nobel, ICI, Vauxhall Motors, B&Q, Ronseal and Homebase providing SCM support. He has been imparting his knowledge on SCM, sourcing and continuous improvement training and development as well as provided hands on support to UK's SME organisations. And is now particularly keen on working with Norfolk companies, in order to help to capitalise on the numerous opportunities in supply chain, improve competitiveness and help them to grow contribute to their bottom line.
